Community Compensation

🔍 When Compensation Applies

Compensation will be considered if:

  • The loss was caused by a confirmed vulnerability in ForgeX product.

  • The issue was not caused by user error, phishing, or third-party dependency failure.

  • The user reports the issue within a reasonable timeframe (e.g., within 7 days).

  • The user provides valid proof of loss (transaction hash, wallet address, timeline).


🧾 Compensation Process

  1. You can submit your report through one of the following ways:

    1. DM @james_ssc on Telegram or send msg at Telegram group

    2. DM @forgex_tools on Twitter

    3. DM one of our team member

  2. Our team will investigate and validate the claim

  3. If approved, a compensation plan will be proposed

  4. Compensation is paid in SOL or USDT, based on availability


💡 Example

Suppose a user loses $10,000 worth of assets due to a confirmed vulnerability in ForgeX’s infrastructure (e.g., incorrect wallet routing logic).

Once the issue is reproduced and validated, we will:

  • Immediately compensate the user from the Community Security Pool, up to the current available balance.

  • If the validated loss exceeds the pool’s capacity, we will coordinate a case-by-case settlement with the affected user(s), such as staged reimbursement or off-chain agreement.

This reflects our commitment to fairness, transparency, and real accountability.


⚠️ Exclusions

We are not liable for:

  • User-side phishing, leaked private keys, or misconfigured wallets

  • Token price volatility or failed strategies

  • Losses due to third-party smart contracts not maintained by ForgeX
