Wallet Group Management

Background info

Wallet Group is a unique term introduced by ForgeX. It helps meme devs better manage their numerous wallets into wallet groups for better convenience.

Types of wallet group

1. Custom Wallet Group

Definition: Custom wallet group contains any wallet that controlled by you. Each wallet group support 100 wallets (ideally) , 10 wallet in total, which mean 1000 wallets (ideally) could be under your control with single click to buy or sell.

1. Monitoring Wallet Group

Definition: Any wallets that not belong to you or belong to you.

• Standard Monitoring: Manually add or import wallet addresses for monitoring, could be your own wallets or any wallets you want to track for.

• Top 100 Holders: Automatically monitor the top 100 addresses for a specific SPL token, auto-updates for any changes.

• Community Address Monitoring: Track all transactions for a specific SPL token, distinguishing remaining addresses from selected custom wallet groups.

Preparation

How to Create Wallet Group

1. Open the wallet group page and click Create button

2. Name Wallet Group: To make your wallet management operations more convenient.

3. Choose Wallet Group Type：

   • Custom Wallet Group: Allow to create wallet group or import existing ones with private keys

   • Monitoring Wallet Group: Allow to import wallet addresses without private keys (cloud storage is required)

   Note: The type of wallet group cannot be changed after confirmation

4. Choose Monitoring Type(if you choose to set up monitoring wallet group):

   • Standard Monitoring: Manually add or import wallet addresses for monitoring

   • Top 100 Holders: Monitor the top 100 holding addresses for a specific SPL token, with automatic updates for any changes

   • Community Address Monitoring: Track all transactions for a specific SPL token, distinguishing remaining addresses from selected custom wallet groups for detailed monitoring

   Note: The type of monitoring cannot be changed after confirmation

5. Choose Storage Method：

   • Local Storage: Choose this for custom wallet groups. Data will not be cloud-stored and must be managed locally. Once users close the browser or log out, private keys will be all cleared and cannot be recovered. We strongly recommend that users export and securely store their wallet group data

   • Cloud Storage: Upload wallet group to the cloud with encryption for private keys and sensitive data

How to Import Wallet

1. Open the wallet group page and choose the wallet group you want to operate

2. Click Import Wallet button

3. Download Import Template and enter your wallet information

4. Select the encrypted local wallet group file for import

5. Enter the password to unlock (if has)

6. Complete the import

How to Generate Batch Wallet（Cloud Storage）

1. Open the wallet group page and choose the wallet group you want to operate

2. Click Generate Wallet button

3. Enter the number of wallets you want to generate

4. Setup the password and password entry is required for future access

5. Click the Encrypted Upload and wait for the process for consolidated encryption and upload

6. Confirm the execution is completed

Note: Password cannot be recovered or regenerated. Please securely store it

How to Generate Batch Wallet（Local Storage）

1. Open the wallet group page and choose the wallet group you want to operate

2. Click Generate Wallet button

3. Enter the number of wallets you want to generate

4. Export and back local walet group to avoid potential asset loss

5. Set an encryption password for the file (recommended) and securely store it

6. Confirm the export is completed and securely store the data file

Note: Data file contaning wallet addresses and private keys cannot be recovered if damaged or lost. If you fail to back up the local wallet group,any resulting loss will be at your own risk
